Despite the listing among the "very likely OK" examples in COM:DM, I think that the pupped and the cartoon head are failing at being De minimis in the COM:DM US sense - they aren't really trivial, but quite prominent, and as such above the fuzzy borderline of being OK. - The inclusion came with Special:Diff/996261992/1001595565. Regards, Grand-Duc (talk) 14:54, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
- If this file is deleted, will it impact this image? Because if not, then I could easily add in that image to the Disney and LGBTQ representation in animation page on Wikipedia instead. I can see what you mean with the puppet and cartoon head being pretty prominent, but I'd also like to hear other people's views on this. Historyday01 (talk) 18:11, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
- No, the File:Alex Hirsch and Grunkle Stan puppet at San Diego Comic-Con International 2013 (cropped).jpg is fine, albeit cropped a bit too tight on the left, from the point of aesthetics. Such kind of crops are one of the usual ways to deal inclusions of copyrighted material, see for example Commons:Deletion requests/File:2022綠未來-智慧綠能創新與新創展4.jpg (the uncropped image is still visible at the stated source, so you can draw a comparison for what a crop to remove non-permissible elements should aim). - Ah okay. That makes sense. Historyday01 (talk) 02:45, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
